Mr. Akbarali Pesnani is an MBA and a Fellow Member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. He served as Chairman of the Gwadar Port and Gwadar Port Implementation Authority from 2004 to 2006 and has previously held board positions at Mirpur Khas Sugar Mills, Clariant Pakistan Limited, and Agha Steel Limited.
He has been associated with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) at senior levels for over 49 years. His international assignments include serving as AKDN’s Diplomatic Representative in Tajikistan for seven years and as Envoy of His Highness the Aga Khan in Afghanistan for approximately two years.

Mr. John Joseph Metcalf is a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of UK who has extensive international experience within the insurance industry. Mr. Metcalf started his insurance career in the UK, where he held various positions within insurance companies and brokers before embarking on his international career in 1990 in the Sultanate of Oman and then the United Arab Emirates. In 1996 Mr. Metcalf joined the Allianz Group, with whom he was engaged as Regional General Manager for Life in Asia-Pacific prior to taking up the appointment as Executive Chairman of Allianz Life Assurance Company and Allianz Insurance Company of Egypt. He is responsible for the development of strategy for the insurance business of AKFED, including management oversight of all AKFED investments in the insurance sector comprised of 9 insurance operations in 6 countries in Africa, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan

He actively contributes to several unlisted and not-for-profit organizations, including The Citizens Foundation, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Orange Tree Foundation (OTF), SINA Health Systems Foundation, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Pakistan, Citizens Trust Against Crime, Patrons of Expo 2020, The Water Foundation, and serves on the Advisory Boards of the Packages Group and TCF. Ms. Ava Ardeshir Cowasjee is a prominent person in the shipping industry of Pakistan. Ms. Sima Kamil is a pioneering Pakistani banker who became the first woman to head a major Pakistani bank, United Bank Limited (UBL), in 2017. With over 35 years of experience in commercial banking, she has held key roles at American Express Bank, Standard Chartered, and Habib Bank Limited. Ms. Kamil was the first woman appointed as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in 2020 and served a three-year term. She is also actively involved in education and social causes. Ms. Kamil is the Chairperson of the Board of Governors at Karachi Grammar School and a member of Policy Board of the SECP.

Mr. Naveed Qazi is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over 38 years of extensive experience in various areas including Corporate and Retail Banking, Microfinance, Capital Markets, Operations Risk, Information Technology and Banking Operations. Prior to joining NCCPL, he served as an Advisor for Digitalization and Strategic Initiatives at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) where he focused on streamlining processes, enhancing operational controls and driving automation to improve efficiency and customer service. Mr. Qazi has held senior leadership roles, including President and CEO at JS Bank and First Microfinance Bank, CIO at Standard Chartered Bank, Pakistan and COO at American Express Bank Ltd., Pakistan, where he played a key role in establishing and growing these institutions, optimizing their operations and managing regulatory relationships. His experience spans across leading organizational transformations, implementing strategic business plans and overseeing large-scale projects. Mr. Qazi has also been actively involved in working with regulatory bodies such as the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). He holds an MBA from Institute of Business Administration and has received various international trainings on advanced leadership including leadership training from INSEAD, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation in the financial sector.

Mr. Abid Vazir has been associated with Ghulam Faruque Group since 2000. He is currently serving as a Director and Chief Operating Officer of Cherat Packaging Ltd. - a leading and most diversified packaging company of Pakistan listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange. Mr. Vazir also served as the Chief Executive of Greaves Airconditioning (Pvt.) Ltd. for over 12 years. Ably assisted by the management team, he was responsible for turning around Company's fortunes and made it into a profitable venture and a leading HVAC solution provider of Pakistan - having its presence on several iconic and landmark projects of Pakistan. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Greaves Airconditioning to this day. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) and is currently serving as its Vice President. Mr. Abid Vazir holds an MBA degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), enrolled in the Dean's Honors List. He belongs to the first batch of graduates of College of Business Management (loBM) and also holds an MBA degree from the Institute. Mr. Vazir is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Pakistan and a Certified Director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG). Recently, Mr. Vazir had the honor and the privilege of being the Keynote Speaker at the 25th Convocation of the IOBM - the first alumni to have this honor.
